“New Sounds” – concert & community meeting

We invite international PhD students and researchers based in Małopolska to join the next meeting within the “Cultural Adaptation in Poland” cycle. This time, participants are invited to join a concert from the “New Sounds” series at Willa Decjusza. The event will feature pianist Emilia Karolina Sitarz, an artist working in contemporary and experimental music.

The meeting will be an opportunity to connect with other members of the international research community and to experience the modern Polish music scene. It will also be the last community gathering before the summer break.

Who can participate

The event is open to international PhD students and researchers affiliated with institutions in Małopolska, in particular:

  • AGH University of Krakow,
  • Cracow University of Technology,
  • Jagiellonian University in Krakow,
  • University of Agriculture in Krakow,
  • Institute of Nuclear Physics – PAS,
  • Krakow University of Economics.

Registration and selection rules:

To take part in the event, please complete the registration form by Wednesday, 1 July 2026.

Participation is free of charge, but the number of places is limited to 15. Participants will be selected on a first come, first served basis, while also ensuring balanced representation across partner institutions.
