AGH University of Krakow cordially invites researchers, academic staff, university administrators, and representatives of research-support institutions to participate in the project launch event “Małopolska: Fostering Collaboration for Research Success”, which will take place on Wednesday, 28 January 2026, from 10:30 to 15:00, in Main Aula, A-0 Building, AGH University of Krakow (30 Mickiewicza Av., 30-059 Kraków).
The event is organised within the NAWA–EURAXESS Network Programme and is dedicated to strengthening international research collaboration, supporting researcher mobility, and fostering the integration of international researchers within the Małopolska region.
The programme will include:
- Official opening and welcome remarks by representatives of AGH University, regional and municipal authorities, and the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA),
- A presentation of the NAWA–EURAXESS Network Programme, outlining national and regional support instruments for international researchers,
- A panel discussion with international researchers focusing on cross-border research experiences in Krakow and effective HR strategies for researcher integration,
- A presentation of the “Małopolska Inspiration for Your Research Journey” project, highlighting regional initiatives designed to support research careers,
- Networking opportunities during a shared lunch.
The meeting will provide a platform for exchanging experiences, learning about available support mechanisms, and building connections between international researchers and local academic and institutional stakeholders.
Participation in the event is free of charge, but prior registration is required.
The Programme is funded with European funds from the European Funds for Social Development 2021–2027 (FERS) under the NAWA Project “Support for higher education and research institutions in supporting foreign nationals and Polish citizens going abroad,” project number FERS.01.05-IP.08-0003/24.
